Early spring

Early spring lawn care helps grass green-up after winter. Feed the first time your grass is cut or seed when soil temperatures reach 60 degrees. Put down a product that will prevent crabgrass.

Late spring

Feed now to prepare grass for summer heat and drought by thickening the blades on top and building deep roots. Late spring preventative should feed the lawn & kill dandelions as well as other lawn weeds.

Early fall

Early fall lawn care helps replenish the nutrients lost in the harsh summer months for quicker recovery and help grass grow. Aerate and overseed in September. A compost product like Orgrow will give your lawn and new grass seed a great advantage. Give lots of water.

Late fall

Late fall is the best feeding time because it builds strong deep roots and prepares grass for the winter. You should feed when all the leaves have fallen and have been removed.
